Job Description

The Opportunity: UI/UX Systems Designer

We’re looking for a UI/UX Designer who will guide the creation of a scalable design system and elevate the overall user experience across our SaaS platform. You define the direction for the design system, ensure UI/UX consistency, and work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to bring clarity, usability, and simplicity into the product.

You’ll apply strong product thinking, customer empathy, and rapid iteration.

What you can expect the role to look like:

  • Assess the current UI/UX across the product and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Define the visual language, design patterns, and component standards for the design system.
  • Supervise the creation and evolution of the design system. Document UI/UX guidelines and best practices.
  • Use rapid prototyping tools (Bolt.new, Lovable, Framer, or similar) to quickly validate ideas and speed up design-to-dev alignment.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers to understand user needs, validate problems, and shape design solutions.
  • Collaborate with Engineers to ensure design intent is maintained through implementation.
  • Lead iterative design reviews, gather feedback, and refine designs quickly.

What we expect of you:

  • 1–3 years of experience in UI/UX design (internships, freelance, academic projects, or portfolio work welcome).
  • Solid foundational skills in visual design, interaction design, and basic UX principles.
  • Proficiency in Figma for creating components, wireframes, and high fidelity screens.
  • Interest in design systems and ability to contribute to pattern libraries and UI guidelines under supervision.
  • Basic understanding of CSS and how UI styles translate into implementation.
  • Exposure to rapid prototyping tools (Bolt.new, Lovable, Framer) or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Collaborative mindset and comfort working with Product Managers and Engineers.
  • Ability to iterate quickly, stay open to critique, and communicate design decisions clearly.
  • Basic awareness of accessibility and responsive design concepts.

What will help you stand out:

  • Working knowledge of front end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) and core web technologies including JavaScript and TypeScript.
