Job Responsibilities

• Primary: Welding - TIG, MIG + other processes
• Secondary: Operates a press brake to manufacture components from sheet metal or metal plates.
• Secondary: Operates CNC laser cutter, shaping and sizing sheet metal on 2D plane. 
• Inspects products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Performs routine maintenance on welders. 

Skills Required

• Ability to safely and effectively operate equipment required by job
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to follow process controls required in AS9100D:2016 / Nadcap AC7110 welding environment
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings. 
• Must be able to read, write and speak English. Spanish/English proficiency is desirable.
• Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
• This position is production-oriented and the successful candidate should be comfortable in a high volume, busy, industrial work setting
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
