Serve as the technical leader for the Systems Integration Laboratory, overseeing electrical system design, integration, and testing for ground combat systems. This role involves managing SIL build and bench testing, coordinating subsystem integration, and ensuring compliance with military standards. The position combines technical leadership with hands-on engineering design and documentation.
Responsibilities
Lead technical activities within the Systems Integration Laboratory.
Oversee electrical system design, integration, and testing.
Manage SIL build and bench testing processes.
Coordinate subsystem integration and ensure compliance with military standards.
Develop Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and maintain configuration control.
Collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems engineering teams.
Interface with vendors and suppliers for component procurement.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
8-12 years of electrical engineering experience in defense or aerospace.
3-5 years in Systems Integration Laboratory (SIL) leadership or similar role.
Expertise in ground combat systems or military vehicle electrical systems.
Proficiency with Altium Designer, Visio, MATLAB/Simulink, AutoCAD.
Strong knowledge of power systems, CAN bus, Ethernet, fiber optics, EMI/EMC.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Master's degree in Electrical or Systems Engineering.
PE license or PMP certification.
Experience with turret systems, weapon integration, fire control systems.
Familiarity with DO-160, MIL-STD-810, cybersecurity compliance.
Active Secret clearance.
Experience with MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-704, ITAR compliance.
Strong understanding of sensor systems (Hall Effect, resolvers), motor control, and braking systems.
Excellent communication and project management skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52.88 - $57.69/hr.
