Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to start their career in payroll. We provide comprehensive on-the-job training (for the right person), so no prior experience is required. You'll gain valuable skills and knowledge while contributing to the smooth operation of our finance department.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Support payroll processing, including data entry and verification.
• Assist with bank reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
• Learn and apply accounting principles and payroll regulations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Provide administrative support to the accounting and finance team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
• A Basic understanding of accounting principles is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with Viewpoint Spectrum accounting software is a plus
• Ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
