**Position Summary**

Giving Tree Lending is looking for a **hungry, growth-minded, and self-generating** Mortgage Loan Officer. This role is for a proven producer who is frustrated by the limitations of their current environment—whether it's slow processing, uncompetitive programs, or compensation that doesn't match their effort. We are looking for a true partner who is committed to excellence, continuous learning, and, above all, helping others achieve their dream of homeownership.

**Who We’re Looking For**

* Are a proven loan officer, consistently closing 2+ loans per month (over the last 3-6 months).
* Are a business generator, building your own pipeline through realtors, personal databases, referrals, and your network.
* Are teachable and growth-minded, willing to learn new tools (like our ERP, Calyx Point, and LoanSifter) and attend weekly training to sharpen your skills.
* Have an active NMLS license.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Proactively generate your own business through realtors, personal databases, referrals, and professional networks.
* Originate high-quality mortgage loans (VA, FHA, Conventional) for both purchases and refinances.
* Consult with clients to understand their financial needs and goals, building trust and rapport.
* Educate and advise clients on the various loan products available, helping them select the best option.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, real estate agents, and internal teams, ensuring transparent and proactive communication.
* Embrace and master our tech stack, including our ERP, Calyx Point, and LoanSifter, to maximize efficiency.
* Commit to growth by actively participating in at least one weekly training session.
