About the Role
The Marketing Specialist supports the execution of marketing initiatives, brand communications, and business development activities. This entry-level position is responsible for ensuring brand consistency, developing digital and print content, coordinating campaigns, and providing administrative and creative support to the BD team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow in a collaborative marketing environment. Travel will be required in accordance with company needs.
Key Responsibilities Brand & Content Management
- Ensure all produced materials follow SES brand guidelines, tone, and visual standards.
- Draft and proof content for social media, email campaigns, websites, and print collateral.
- Maintain and update day-to-day website content, coordinating with internal teams and vendors.
- Oversee copywriting and creative direction for marketing materials in alignment with brand identity.
- Collaborate with BD on website strategy, structure, and content updates.
Digital Marketing & Engagement
- Schedule and publish social media posts; engage with followers and track analytics to drive engagement.
- Set and monitor content themes, posting cadence, and engagement targets.
- Compile and distribute monthly analytics reports for leadership review.
Campaign & Project Support
- Execute assigned campaigns and initiatives from the marketing plan.
- Support internal communications, including newsletters and employee announcements.
- Assist in drafting press releases, collecting project stories, and compiling media kits.
- Coordinate logistics, shipments, and booth/display setup for events and tradeshows.
Business Development Collaboration
- Develop client-facing decks, one-pagers, and proposal templates for BD Associates’ approval.
- Provide BD teams with marketing updates, branding resources, and content guidance.
- Work with BD to integrate ESG messaging into proposals, presentations, and online content.
Administrative & Financial Support
- Track vendor invoices and assist with budget reporting.
- Format, proof, and prepare marketing materials for proposals and presentations.
Events & Trade Shows
• Support planning and execution of industry events, exhibitions, and conferences.
• Coordinate logistics, materials, and promotional items for events.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in marketing, communications, or digital media (internship experience accepted).
- Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
- Familiarity with social media management, content management systems, and email marketing tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (required).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage, edit, and design website content with a strong focus on maintaining brand consistency and enhancing user experience, specifically within the SES digital environment.
