Job Description:
The Manual Tester will be responsible for creating, documenting, and executing manual test scripts to validate vendor applications integrated with clinical and research systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with project teams, developers, and business users to ensure applications function correctly across both upstream and downstream systems.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop and document manual test scripts and maintain test cases.
Conduct vendor application testing (no development work).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues.
Utilize Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
Perform Python scripting tasks for validation or automation support.
Test clinical management trial systems including OnCore, Iris, Inform, and REDCap.
Ensure system integration and data flow accuracy with EPIC (both upstream and downstream).
Required Skills:
Proficiency in Jira and Confluence for project management.
Strong ability to write and document detailed manual test scripts.
Basic Python scripting experience.
Experience testing vendor applications (no coding required).
Knowledge of clinical management systems (OnCore, Iris, Inform, REDCap).
Understanding of EPIC integration workflows.
Academic research experience is helpful and a plus.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Familiarity with healthcare or life sciences domain applications.
