Pay Range: $60 – $62/hour ($2,250 – $2,325/week)
Position Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Mammography Technologist for an exciting job in Hackensack, NJ.
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic and screening mammograms for adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients with professionalism and accuracy.
Assist with breast ultrasound procedures, stereotactic biopsies, and localization/interventional imaging.
Prepare patients, imaging rooms, and documentation prior to procedures.
Accurately label and document all images with proper patient identifiers, side markers, and technologist initials.
Maintain imaging quality standards, including film processing and developing as applicable.
Conduct required quality control activities (phantom imaging, compression, processor checks, darkroom testing).
Educate patients on breast health, including BSE (breast self-exam) guidance and pre/post-procedure instructions.
Maintain clear, compliant documentation of procedures and QC activities.
Support patient tracking, statistics, and follow-up reporting for biopsy and imaging procedures.
Collaborate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Lead or Chief Mammography Technologist.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Graduate of an AMA-accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a licensed Mammography Technologist.
ARRT certification required.
Mammography certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months of start).
Active Diagnostic Radiography License (NJ or eligible).
