Senior IT Project Manager - (Remote)

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead a strategic initiative focused on delivering real-time provider network data into Prior Authorization processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong healthcare domain expertise, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven ability to deliver complex IT initiatives on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end project management for a complex, cross-functional initiatives for clients
Manage all project phases including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, and closure.
Partner with business and IT stakeholders to ensure delivery of a standardized output layer for system integration.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts.
Coordinate cross-functional teams in a matrixed enterprise environment.
Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
Ensure alignment with business objectives, technical standards, and compliance requirements.
Provide executive-level reporting, dashboards, and status updates on milestones, deliverables, and overall project health.
Facilitate stakeholder engagement, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
Ensure successful handoff to operations and support teams post-implementation.

Required Qualifications
9+ years of IT project management experience delivering large, complex initiatives in healthcare environments.
Direct experience managing Prior Authorization related systems or initiatives (required).
Proven experience managing cross-functional teams within a matrixed enterprise organization.
Strong understanding of healthcare operations, including provider networks, eligibility, and provider data.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior and executive leadership.
PMP certification required.
Proficiency with standard project management tools and platforms, including Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
