Inbound Call Center Agent Location Independence, MO

The Inbound Call Center Agent is responsible for answering incoming calls from customers, responding to inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing general information. The Inbound Call Center Agent must maintain a professional and helpful tone while ensuring customer satisfaction and accuracy in communication. This is a customer-facing role ideal for individuals who are patient, quick-thinking, and enjoy solving problems over the phone.
Primary Responsibilities
- Answer incoming customer calls promptly and professionally
- Identify customer needs and provide accurate information regarding products, services, or company policies
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and support requests with patience and efficiency
- Log call information and update customer records in the database or CRM system
- Route calls to appropriate departments or personnel when necessary
- Meet or exceed performance targets related to call handling time, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction
- Follow up with customers when additional information or resolution is needed
- Maintain knowledge of company products, services, and promotions to assist callers effectively
- Comply with call center procedures, quality standards, and data protection regulations
- Participate in ongoing training sessions and team meetings to improve skills and stay informed about updates
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage high call volumes
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM or call center software
- The Inbound Call Center Agent must be dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-first mindset
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Previous experience as an Inbound Call Center Agent or in a customer service role is an advantage but not required
