General Sales Manager (GSM) – Ford Dealership Location: Randolph NJ / East Hanover NJCompensation: $160,000 – $250,000 annually (performance-based)Benefits: Full Benefits Package + 401(k) About the Opportunity We are a high-volume, growth-oriented Multi Ford dealership group seeking an experienced General Sales Manager (GSM) to lead and elevate our sales operations. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving new and used vehicle performance, developing a strong sales team, and delivering an exceptional customer experience while maximizing profitability. Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage all aspects of new and used vehicle sales operations * Drive sales volume, gross profit, and market share while maintaining compliance * Recruit, train, coach, and develop Sales Managers and Sales Consultants * Establish and monitor sales goals, KPIs, and performance metrics * Collaborate with Finance, Service, and Fixed Ops to optimize dealership performance * Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and CSI performance * Oversee inventory management, pricing strategies, and desking processes DMS R&R * Maintain strong relationships with Ford representatives and adhere to OEM standards Qualifications * Proven experience as a General Sales Manager or Sales Director in an automotive dealership * Ford dealership experience strongly preferred * Track record of achieving high sales volume and profitability * Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills * Deep understanding of desking, inventory management, and automotive retail analytics * Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making abilities * Ability to lead in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment Compensation & Benefits * $160,000 – $250,000++ annual earning potential (base + performance incentives) * Full benefits package (medical, dental, vision) * 401(k) * Paid time off and holidays * Long-term career growth with a stable, reputable 24 franchise dealer group Why Join Us * Competitive compensation at the top of the market * Strong inventory and brand recognition with Ford * Supportive ownership and leadership team * Opportunity to make a significant impact and grow with the dealership Apply confidentially today to join a dealership committed to excellence, performance, and leadership.
