Description We are looking for an experienced Art Director specializing in environmental and experiential creative development to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role will focus on designing and overseeing dynamic spaces and installations that captivate audiences and embody brand storytelling. Responsibilities: - Develop and execute artistic concepts for immersive environments, branded spaces, and interactive installations that align with client goals. - Lead the design process for physical and digital experiences, including interior and exterior spaces, exhibitions, and event setups. - Create detailed visual guidelines, mood boards, and design principles to illustrate and maintain creative consistency. - Collaborate with architects, set designers, and production teams to bring conceptual designs to life. - Conduct creative reviews, refining designs to meet aesthetic and functional standards. - Partner with marketing and brand teams to ensure alignment between experiential designs and overall brand narratives. - Facilitate brainstorming sessions and generate sketches, prototypes, and mock-ups to communicate innovative ideas. - Oversee production and installation processes, ensuring quality and adherence to project timelines. - Present concepts and strategies to clients, incorporating feedback to deliver exceptional results. Requirements - A minimum of 7 years of experience in art direction, with a focus on environmental and experiential design. - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including tools such as Adobe Photoshop. - Strong background in graphic design and visual storytelling. - Demonstrated ability to develop creative guidelines and maintain design consistency across projects. - Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including architects and technical production specialists. - Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey ideas effectively to clients and stakeholders. - Proven track record of delivering innovative and impactful designs. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
