Job Summary
We are seeking skilled 2nd shift forklift operators for Order Picker, Turret, Reach Truck and Dock Stocker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating forklifts with a focus on warehouse procedures and safety. The Forklift operator will be responsible for ensuring that all operations are performed efficiently and safely while maintaining high standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Pick all orders in a safe, accurate, and methodical manner. You may put away products, relocate pallets, cancel, and inspect orders.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Use an Order Picker, Reach truck, Turret or Dock Stocker Forklift to place or remove large items on warehouse shelves
• Package and label items for shipment
• Keep track of shipments and product relocations within the warehouse
• May use the forklift with a work platform to elevate workers so they can check inventory
• Follow all safety regulations
• Assist with other tasks as needed, including loading and unloading delivery trucks

Requirements

• At least 1 year experience operating an Order Picker, Turret, Reach Truck or Dock Stocker - we are hiring for all roles - candidates without specific order picker or dock stocker experience will not be considered for this role.
• Knowledge of proper forklift safety skills and techniques.
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Experience working in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Forklift certification preferred but not mandatory.

Shifts, Pay, Forklift Type and Location:

• 2nd Shift - Monday-Friday 2:30pm - 10:30pm - $19.00 p/h - Order Picker or Dock Stocker - Plainfield

• 2nd Shift - Monday-Friday 3:00pm - 11:00pm - $19.00 p/h Order Picker or Dock Stocker - Plainfield

• 2nd Shift - Monday-Friday 3:00pm - 11:00pm - $20.00 p/h Turret operator - Plainfield

• 2nd Shift Clayton - Order Picker, Reach & Dock Stocker - M-F 3pm-11:30pm - $21.50
• 2nd Shift Plainfield - Reach truck, dock stocker, order picker - M-F 3pm-11:30pm - $21.50

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.50 per hour
